It is a Fine Day

One day many years ago I decided to try the ancient tradition of meeting my spirit animal. Many different spiritual practices across the world teach that if one waits outside in nature for a long enough time, one's embodiment in the animal world will reveal itself to you.

So with that in mind, upon a suitably nice day outdoors, I brought a sitting mat outside with me, and waited. The winds blew, the Sun shone, and the leaves rustled in the trees.

Unfortunately, after several hours of being bug-bitten and generally feeling miserable, I gave up, and came back inside, somewhat disillusioned with the whole process.

It took me an inordinately long amount of time to realize the truth of my experience. And I hope that you too, dear reader, understand that same truth, whether by reading these words, or by perceiving it on your own.
